How To Get Video Games Cheaper

By Peter Bullock

Video games have become more and more popular and now a lot of adults are becoming involved. Gaming was once regarded as a dangerously involving hobby. Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft have developed consoles that serve many different age groups. Namely these consoles are the Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PS3. The highest selling of these consoles was the Wii from Nintendo.

The Nintendo Wii was correctly marketed towards a wider audience; this console wasn't just attractive to play for the young but also for older adults. The Xbox 360 and PS3 were aimed towards a more narrow market. Video game prices vary across each platform, however, the cost of a PS3 or 360 game is generally priced at around 39.99. Wii games are generally prices at 24.99, making it much more appealing where cost is concerned. PC games are generally a lot cheaper than on other platforms and the choice of games is massive. Portable gaming consoles are also generally cheaper.

Game prices usually range from 20 to 40 on release. The prices of the games not only depend upon the time it has been in market, but also on its success.

When FIFA 10 was out I immediately used CheckGamePrices, nearly all retailers were selling it for 40+, yet one retailer was selling it on special offer for 22.99! It saved me nearly 20, a fantastic price for a just-released Xbox 360 video game!

Be smart and save loads of time and money on video games from today, what's more - it's totally free. Don't let the recession prevent your gaming! - 30202
