Sonic games are popular with not only younger gamers but also the adult crowd. This is because Sonic has been here for over ten years now. The ending is absolutely great with the introduction of Super Sonic. Who would have thought that Sonic could become even superior then he is already. It stunned me, but of course in a good way. There were a couple of plot twists which were really enjoyable.
Sonic Adventure
Sonic adventure for the Dreamcast was the first game that brought Sonic from 2D to 3D. It has been a huge success, because many games that crossover do not live up to the expectation.
Most of the games in the list are 2D games. The newer fans might not be familiar with the 2D Sonic. This is a shame and they should play the older games. Those were the glory days when Sonic was in competition with his rival Mario. But Mario could never keep up with Sonic.
All these games are great, but there is a common theme that keeps reoccurring. The graphics are consistent, but seem to improve with each game. The music stays pumping. And Sonic stays as confident and fast as ever. - 30202
