Gordon's War - When a Vietnam vet comes home to find his wife caught on medications, he trains a gentleman army to beat the pushers. Excellent action, although gets lost toward the end. Cast includes Paul Winfield, Carl Lee, David Downing, and Tony Baron. (90 minutes, 1973)

Indian Love Call - 15-year-old Arikara (Crawford), his horse, and his becoming a man. Cast includes Johnny Crawford, Jay Silverheels, Pat Hogan, Robert Crawford, Jr., and George J. Lewis. (91 minutes, 1936)

Jack Frost - A careless dad dies in an auto mishap and comes to life one year later on as a snowman in his child's front yard! Nice, likable acting and an lack of aggression make this an alright family film. However, it on no account conquers its quintessential problem, an exceptionally eerie premise. Cast includes Michael Keaton, Kelly Preston, Mark Addy, Joseph Cross, Henry Rollins, and Dweezil Zappa. (95 minutes, 1998)

Me without You - Apprehensive, tender Williams and extroverted Friel have been best friends as long as they can recollect, though as they come of age their friendship is compromised. Credibly fascinating girl friend film has some strainful minutes, but it doesn't quite gel. Cast includes Anna Friel, Michelle Williams, Oliver Milburn, Trudie Styler, Marianne Denicourt, Steve John Shepherd, Nicky Henson, Allan Corduner, Kyle MacLachlan, and Anna Popplewell. Lost Horizon - First half hour copies 1937 motion picture scene for scene, and everything's going well. Then we get to Shangri-La and everything goes wrong. House of the Black Death - Wizard keeps individuals prisoner in a creepy older residence; terribly dragged out, poor grade stuff. Cast includes Lon Chaney, Jr., John Carradine, Andrea King, and Tom Drake. (80 minutes, 1965)
