Excellent stab at film noir sensation, however script is structure-bulky and unsatisfying. Cast includes Rachel Ward, Jeff Bridges, James Woods, Alex Karras, Jane Greer, Pat Corley, and Bill McKinney. (78 minutes, 1968)
Pretty Woman: A chance meeting of a street hooker and a ruthless and very wealthy businessman leads to a unique proposition. He hires her for the week, to attend some functions with him as an escort. He has no idea what he has gotten himself into.
Rhythm Thief: Immediately fascinating and arrogant ultra low cost picture of a distant although afflicted Andrews, who lives on N.Y.C.'s dirty Lower East Side and makes his keep by marketing tapes of illicitly carbon copied music. The film is intriguing and seductive at times. It was filmed in 11 nights, for $ 11,000.
