One of the most popular video games of all time is Tetris. I used to play Atari for days when I was younger. A new free version of Tetris called Tetrus is an updated and very addictive version of the video game.
Once you start playing Tetrus, you do not know when to stop playing the game it is that addicting. Sometimes I lose track of time playing the game for several hours without a break.
I have curtailed my daily Tetrus playing by using an alarm clock set to a specific time so I know when to quit. I have literally wasted hundreds if not thousands of hours playing this game. This is by far one of my favorite video games.
The graphics in Tetrus are exceptional compared to the first Tetris game. There are actually hundreds or maybe even thousands of different levels. I also like the music in the new Tetrus game.
Sometimes the Tetrus theme song just pops into my head because I have played the game over a hundred times. I have the theme song so well memorized that I could sing it for hours on end.
I hope they makers of Tetris are going to follow up Tetrus with another version. I do see some room for a few small changes and slight upgrades to the game.
There are so many shapes and levels in the new Tetrus game it is a lot of fun to play. However, competing with your family and friends makes the game even more of a challenge.
We award prizes to the winner of our Tetrus competitions. If you lose the tournament you also have to buy dinner. Sometimes when I am really stressed I will just play Tetrus on my PC for a few minutes to relieve my anxiety.
